Qualcomm Stadium, the new stadium for SDSU football, is situated in Mission Valley's center. This stadium was built on SDSU's expansion campus to replace the aging Jack Murphy / Qualcomm / SDCCU Stadium, much to the delight of the locals.
It opened in the summer of 2022 to great fanfare (and infamous heat), welcoming thousands of San Diegans to experience professional and collegiate sports.

Seat selection should take into account the stadium's north-south orientation. The east side of the stadium will experience sunshine all day, while end zone areas offer cheaper, but slightly diminished, views without being directly exposed to the sun.
Because of the perpetual shade after the early afternoon, the west side seats have become my favorites when attending games. In spite of this, no seat has a bad sight line or is obstructed. The seats you choose will depend on your personal preference since restrooms and concessions are plentiful.

A baseball or NFL stadium holds roughly 35000 spectators, making this a much more intimate and cozy environment. There is a fantastic feeling of close proximity to the action on the field, and I can only imagine how great a concert would be!
There is very little shade either in the concourse or in the seating bowl, which is a problem, given the beauty of the place. Be sure to apply sunscreen, drink plenty of water, and wear a hat and sunglasses.
There are multiple bars, restaurants, and guest service stations on the ground level, as well as on the east and west concourses. High-roller suites are available on both sides of the park.
It includes a large shop on the southeast corner that sells gear for showing team spirit and many water bottles and sunblocks to help you make the most of the game.

At Snapdragon, you will find food that rivals (or exceeds) that offered at Petco Park, Pechanga Arena, and Torero Stadium. In addition to the standard food items, stadium eateries offer pretzels, hot dogs, and nachos.
SNAPDRAGON STADIUM: FOR EXPERTS
A few other buildings stand near Snapdragon, which is a pity. The situation will change when San Diego State University expands into Mission Valley in the near future. At the moment, a couple of chain restaurants exist just west of the stadium near IKEA and Home Depot.
Before or after attending a game, trolley riders could dine or shop.
There are multiple malls in the Mission Valley, such as Hazard Center and Fashion Valley, which both offer easy parking options and easy access to the green line.
There are now restaurants at UTC, and the trolley runs through Old Town and the Gaslamp District, making a full day out even more enjoyable. When making these plans, don't forget to factor in transit time.
Snapdragon San Diego Stadium has created an experience that rivals any venue I can recall, with easy access for anyone in the area.
In addition to its small size, it offers great views throughout, and its quality concessions make it something of a destination.
